The ASPCA/Cornell Maddie's® Shelter Medicine Conference provides a high quality educational experience for shelter professionals as well as those who consult with animal shelters. The primary objective of the conference is to provide information that will enhance the quality of life for shelter animals and animals within the community who are in need of assistance. Information of particular value to veterinarians and veterinary technicians will be offered throughout the entire conference. This is the 11th year that this conference has been held and presentations will be made by speakers who are highly regarded in their respective fields.

When: This two-and-a-half day event will begin Friday, July 18th with registration beginning at 5:15pm. A Keynote Speaker presentation will follow at 6pm given by Dr. Stephen Zawistowski, PhD, CAAB on the topic of Medicine and Science in the History of Animal Shelters. Promptly after, a wine and cheese reception will be held.
